Wilhelmina’s Feast returns showcasing autumn flavours alongside pork from Bundarra Berkshire Farm and matching wine from Victoria’s Clyde Park.
On Wednesday 5 April, Wilhelmina’s will host it’s seasonal feast featuring wine from Victoria's Clyde Park Vineyard paired with pork from Bundarra Berkshire Farm. It’s an evening of great food and wine showcasing a couple of Wilhelmina’s favourite producers.
Bundarra Berkshire is a small, sustainable family run farm situated along the Murray River in Southwestern New South Wales. The Mathers’ property is home to 70 breeding sows which produce around sixteen black piglets each year, all born and grown out in the open paddocks of the free range and bio dynamic farm.
Representing Bundarra Berkshire, Lauren Mathers will be co-hosting the evening and will share her family's story of the farms humble beginning and ethos behind their small business.
Hailing from the Geelong region, Clyde Park Vineyards produce exceptional hand-crafted cool climate wines. The winery has been at the forefront of viticulture in the emerging region and has been awarded a five star rating in James Halliday’s Wine Companion.
We’re excited to welcome winemaker Ben Mullen to Wilhelmina’s to co host the event and pair some of the Clyde Park range of wines with dishes created by Pip, head chef of Wilhelmina’s, using product from Bundarra Berkshire. As the winery is situated in an a cool climate region, expect to see their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay featured on the menu.
Wilhelmina’s Feast happens four times per year with each representing the season. We partner up with a wine maker and producer that we use throughout the year to create a menu with matching wine that best showcase the marriage between the food, wine and time of year.
Tickets available at www.wilhelminas.com.au and ‘Wilhelmina’s Family’ have first chance to reserve seats from Monday 6 March.
